The HMS Hood

“HMS Hood was struck by several German shells near its ammunition magazines which

subsequently exploded, causing the ship to sink. It sparked a huge Royal Navy pursuit of the Bismarck, which was destroyed three days later. More than 2,000 German sailors lost their lives.”

So, here is another world war story and it’s about the mighty HMS Hood.

The HMS Hood was the pride of the Royal Navy giving it the nickname

                                      "The Mighty Hood".

So, really quick I want to show you the description of the HMS Hood

In the battle of the Denmark Strait when HMS Hood was hit by a German Shell in the ammunition the whole thing just exploded which caused so much damage to the hull that it sank within 15 minutes that’s too fast right? but while that was happening the HMS Prince Of Wales had taken the last known photo of the HMS Hood.

Being honest here I had never even known much about HMS Hood, for me there is just so much going on, (a part of me wants to build the Hood in Lego now) there is so much for me and you to learn about the HMS Hood after all we can’t just stop learning now can we…

Well the Hood could have a much better and fair fight if she had undergo some upgrades but when the Second World War broke out, they had to keep HMS Hood in service even if she has no upgrades and as to why Hood exploded I guess we will never know because that part of the ship obliterated upon exploding.

That’s all for today thank you for reading this you have no idea how much it means to me.
